Process
We make the process as simple as possible for your peace of mind. Here is what you can expect after your initial contact via email or to phone Know-How Cabinetmaking (KH):

  1. We come to your home to discuss your needs, wishes and desires, and we’ll measure everything up. 
  2. KH will then supply a set of plans, 3D-rendered images and a price (quote). 
  3. After acceptance of the quote, you’ll visit our showroom to select colours, finishes, design elements and hardware (i.e. runners, soft close or non-soft close and other mechanisms for pantry, bins, pull-out units, lights, etc.). 
  4. KH revisits your site to confirm and re-measure. 
  5. Manufacturing begins. 
  6. You have the option to visit the factory and view your joinery item fully assembled and set up prior to delivery and installation. Minor changes and alterations can be done at this stage. 
  7. Pre-installation and arranging of allied trades. Can be customers, preferred tradespeople or KH’s trades to complete required services necessary to start the installation. 
  8. Installation – usually takes one to two working days.
  9. If you select stone benchtops, the stone mason will come and take templates and return 7 to 10 working days later with finished bench tops. 
  10. Splashbacks, tiling and glass are then installed. This can again be done by your preferred trades or through KH.
